Hello
Hello, we are Richard & Natalie Anderson and together with Teddy and Daisy Duke, our two Giant Schnauzers, we are the new owners of Lonan Country House & Gardens. Thanks to the fabulous efforts of the previous owners Malcolm and Elaine, the house and its suites are in amazing condition, having been recently refurbished.
We have both loved Scotland for many years, and both of us have spent many years working hard in the UK and overseas which, while an incredible experience, just delayed our decision to be part of this wonderful life in Scotland.
Our goal is to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible and to that end this is also our home, so we can be available to our guests to help with questions about activities and trips and any other queries you may have.

Lonan House is a “B listed” country house built in 1906 and designed by the renowned Scottish architect Sir Robert Lorimer. The house is considered a fine example of his work and hence the listing. In its lifetime, the house has been a private home, a hotel and latterly it was split into apartments.
We have only just become the custodians of the house, and our aim is to maintain the character of the building and develop the surrounding 28 acres of gardens and woodland. We believe that a house like this should be enjoyed by many people and due to its location, we think it is an ideal base for anyone wishing to explore the beauty of the west coast of Scotland.
